Hi, I'm Mathis...Teaching English has been part of my path for over ten years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Educational Sciences in 2014, and the following year I taught at a middle and high school in Thailand, an experience that confirmed my calling was in education.

 

👉 Standing in front of large classrooms every day trained me to manage stage presence, voice projection, and audience engagement, skills I now pass on to learners who want to feel more confident when speaking publicly. In 2016, while traveling across Southeast Asia, I had the opportunity to join Topica Native, a Vietnamese company. That role allowed me to discover both online teaching and working with adult learners, which became a real turning point in my career as an English trainer. I realized I could combine two passions, teaching and traveling—while building connections with people from very diverse backgrounds.

 

👉 Coaching adults from different cultures taught me how to adapt my speech and communication style to a wide range of audiences—a key foundation for teaching public speaking with clarity and impact. In 2020, I founded English Together, an online learning program for French adults. I later developed a strong partnership with a state-funded training center, and the project continues to thrive. After five years of exclusive collaboration, I now wish to open new doors, meet more learners, and share my skills in new contexts.

 

👉 Creating and leading my own program required designing structured learning paths, keeping learners motivated, and guiding them to express themselves clearly in professional situations—skills directly transferable to preparing people for presentations, interviews, and speeches. Alongside teaching, I also worked in web design for several years, which strengthened my passion for technology. I enjoy using digital tools to make learning more practical and engaging. For instance, I host full courses on Podia, use Jotform for homework assignments, and provide personalized feedback through Loom.

 

👉 These digital skills allow me to simulate real public speaking situations—whether through recorded speeches, live role-play, or interactive presentations—so learners can practice in a safe but realistic environment. For me, online teaching is not just a matter of convenience—it is the medium where my experience, creativity, and love for technology meet. Above all, it gives me the chance to support learners in mastering a language that can transform their lives, both personally and professionally.

 

👉 And when that mastery translates into confidence on stage or in front of a room, it becomes more than language learning—it becomes empowerment through public speaking.
